Export Claude to Word

Keep an editable conversation with embedded images and a recognizable filename.

Step by step

How to do it

  1. 1

    Open Claude and select Word (.docx). Choose the last response or full conversation; a custom range requires Pro or an eligible non-PDF trial export.

  2. 2

    Choose Export. Conversations with images open a Word preview so you can check the images before downloading.

  3. 3

    At each missing image, retry, choose a replacement image from your device, or explicitly skip it. Download Word becomes available when every image is present or skipped.

  4. 4

    Choose Download Word and open the file named after your conversation, with the .docx extension.
