Step by step

How to do it

    Open Settings, then Backup & local archive, with a signed-in Claude tab open.

  2. 2

    Choose full or incremental mode; filter titles, dates, exposed projects or selected conversations. Explicitly enable local storage/indexing only if wanted.

  3. 3

    Start the user-assisted backup and keep the archive page open. Each checkpoint advances automatically after the browser confirms a completed download; interrupted items remain available for Resume / retry.
